Referrals can be made by fax or email. Referrals will be accepted from Physicians, Dermatologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Referral Process
Referrals can be made by fax or email — Fax (825) 540-5886 or [email protected]. Referrals will be accepted from: Physicians, Dermatologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Please include a short letter and any pertaining information that might help the doctor in assessing the patient. Once we receive your referral, the patient will receive a call from our staff to book their appointment, and when booked you will receive a call or fax with confirmation of the patient’s appointment. Our clinic will also confirm the appointment with the patient 48 hrs prior to the appointment. If patients do not book within two weeks, we will cancel the referral and let you know another referral might be necessary.
Communication you can expect.
A consultation letter will be sent to you within 1-2 weeks, detailing the assessment, diagnosis, and management plan for the patient. Follow-up instructions will be made clear to the patient.
Costs for our services:
Doctor visits and procedures are all billed to Alberta health care. Medical foot care includes callus/corn removal, ingrown nail care, full nail trim and light lower leg massage. Please contact the clinic for medical foot care pricing.
